Victron VE.Bus Smart Dongle

The VE.Bus Smart Dongle is a Bluetooth accessory designed for Victron Energy's range of inverter/chargers, including MultiPlus, MultiPlus-II, MultiGrid, MultiGrid-II, Quattro, and Phoenix Inverters with a VE.Bus port. When installed, it enables monitoring and operation of these systems via the VictronConnect app on your smartphone or tablet. With the app, you can adjust settings such as input current limits and switch between Off, On, and Charger-only modes. 

Additionally, the dongle functions as a voltage and temperature sensing device for the inverter/charger, which is especially beneficial for models like the MultiPlus-II that lack onboard terminals for voltage and temperature sense wiring. This feature makes it a practical alternative for monitoring systems in caravans, smaller yachts, and motorhomes where devices like the Color Control GX or Venus GX might be excessive.
